Information collected automatically

When you request a page, our web server may process standard connection data such as IP address, browser user agent, request path, timestamp, and response status for security and reliability. Server logs are retained according to operational needs.

When you deliberately click a retailer button, we store the product, retailer network, source path, time, a random click identifier, and a one-way short hash derived from connection and browser data. We do not store the raw IP address in the affiliate click database. This helps count clicks, diagnose broken links, and compare useful content without building a named user profile.

Saved picks

The “Save” feature uses your browser's local storage. The shortlist stays on that device and is not sent to Dianao. You can clear it with your browser's site-data controls.

Contact messages

If you submit the contact form, we store the name, email address, message, submission time, and a privacy-minimized visitor hash so we can respond and limit abuse. Do not include passwords, payment card details, health information, or other sensitive data.

Retailer websites

Affiliate buttons take you to independent retailers such as Amazon or eBay. Those services receive the request and may use cookies or similar technology under their own privacy policies. Dianao does not control their checkout or data practices.

Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited records to infrastructure providers that process them for site operation, to protect the service, or when lawfully required.

You may browse without using the contact form or retailer links. To request access, correction, or deletion of a contact message, email us from the same address used in the message and provide enough detail to locate it.
